A Plethora of Memes
Several buds offered up suggestions for getting my blogging groove back, and I’m going to take you all up on it. (Karla, I'm working on yours!)
First, however, there’s been a note floating around my desk for several days now, labeled “Teetering Between’s meme.” AKA The Nosy Meme. Which I love, because it’s exactly the kind of stuff you never ask anyone, but check out when you visit their home. So, with no further ado, here’s the nosy meme:
1) If you make sweet tea, or your favorite style, do you use Luzianne, Lipton or something else?I don’t make tea. That’s what diet Coke is for. My mom makes sun tea, involving an elaborate ritual of the cheapest iced tea available, Crystal Light, and a big jar. And all day in the direct sun. She drinks that concoction over ice at almost every meal. I saw an article in the paper once about sun tea and E. coli but I figure the effort of even trying to explain it to her would cause us both to become unglued.
2) What brand of toilet paper do you buy and is it the larger rolls or regular?
When I’m feeling flush, I buy Kleenex Cottonelle. When I’m feeling cheap, store brand. No fragrance, no color, and double-roll if possible.
3) Which brand of bath soap do you use? Body wash or bar?
I generally use Lever 2000. In bar form. I like the smell. I’m not all that crunchy-granola when it comes to soap. Sue me.
4)What cereal do you buy for yourself?
I don’t eat enough cereal. On the rare occasions that I get to choose it for myself, I like Raisin Bran, Life, and Cap'n Crunch.
5. What brand of dishwasher detergent do you use? Liquid or tablets?
Tablets? What are those? I use the store brand dry detergent. And Palmolive for washing dishes by hand.
6. What’s your favorite fruit?
Raspberries. By a landslide.
7. Which brand of laundry detergent do you use?
Bravo! (The store-brand that is cheaper than all the rest.) Again, I am not so crunchy-granola when it comes to soap products.
8. Do you like chocolate?
Does the pope shit in the woods?
9. Are you right or left-handed?
I’m a lefty. Lefties RULE!
10. Do you still write checks or use a debit card?
I’m working on weaning myself from the checkbook and paying bills online. I have an ancient debit card that some people won’t take anymore because it doesn’t have a logo on it. I need to upgrade, but I’m kind of a Luddite in this category.

I'm trying to wean off of checks too. I just got my first debit card, and am afraid to use it. I guess I'm scared I'll get it confused with my credit card and somehow spend ten grand.
I'm all about Lever 2000, and fuck tea. It's GROSS!
