Someone told me cards at the APL are FREE for anyone living in TEXAS, regardless of city limit boundaries, and that appears to be true, which is AWESOME. I am reading what started off as 7 books, but I finally finished one, so now 6 books. I read one chapter of each and then swap. It's working out well for me.<BR/><BR/>BTW, THANKS for the new cd's! THey were here when I got back in town. What a nice surprise! Our wireless has been down for a bit and I have been sans internet for over a week. I've pretty much stopped buying books. Also, you can go online and look up a book, place a hold and they'll send you an email when they have it and you just go in and pick it up. It kind of rocks. I live in one town and work in another. The town where I live has a library that is open from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. In other words, it's open only when I'm not there. It costs us something like $45 per year for our family card at the Round Rock PL. Which I guess is fair since we don't pay city taxes or whatever, but STILL. I can buy 45 $1 books off the clearance rack at Half Price and SELL them back!<BR/><BR/>Just sayin'.<BR/><BR/>Er, anyway, good call on the starter.
